POMONA, Calif. – The Cal State Monterey Bay women's basketball team fell 58-49 to the Cal Poly Pomona Broncos on Friday night at Kellogg Gym.
The Otters drop to 17-8 overall and 13-8 in California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) action while the Broncos improved 20-5, 17-4 conference play.
Seniors #Veronica Williams# and #Helen Suarez# led the Otters with 11 points each. Freshman
Holly Holcomb pulled down a team-high nine rebounds. Junior #Michelle Santizo# recorded eight points and dished out four assists.
The Broncos were led by Stephisha Walton who recorded a double-double with 13 points and 15 rebounds. Megan Ford added 12 points and nine rebounds.
The Otters conclude their 2009-10 regular season tomorrow night at Cal State San Bernardino at 5:30 p.m.
