Biography
As a Junior in 2011: Led the team in nearly every category, Smart had 79 field goals, and added on another 33 goals from 6-5 opportunities alone. Started in all 38 games sprinting for the Otters in nearly every game. Had a dozen goals in CSUMB’s first weekend on the road at Fresno Pacific on Jan. 22. Had five goals in four separate appearances.
in 2010: Was a redshirt for the season.
As a Sophomore in 2009: Named All-American and Academic All-American...team leader in total goals and ejections drawn...put up five goals against Concordia University, Irvine.
As a Freshman in 2008: WWPA All-Freshman Team honors...named Academic All-American...scored four goals against UC Santa Cruz (2/23).
High School: Received All-TRAC and All-Valley second team honors...senior athlete of the year.
Personal: Daughter of Doug and Laura Richesin...has four brothers; AJ, Brett, Blake, and Luke.
