VISTA, Calif. – The Cal State Monterey Bay women's golf team finished the Fujikura Invitational tied for 12^th with a tournament score of 109-over 973. The Otters carded a final round score of 38-over 326 at the Shadowridge Golf Club.

"Another tough day for the team," head coach Jim Ragan said. "Tilda put together a nice round and played well all day, shooting 76 on a difficult golf course. We will take the next couple of days to get some rest and regroup for next weeks event."
 
Senior Tilda Kvarnrud showed steady improvement throughout the event, posting rounds of 81-79-76 to finish at 236, securing a T-32 finish. Her final-round 76 paced the Otters on the final day.
 
Newcomer Morgan Pittman finished with a final round 81 to post a tournament score of 241 to place T-44^th.
 
Sophomore Mia Golovich placed 59^th with a tournament score of 244, while classmate Veronica Cantu-Maher tied for 72^nd with a 252.
 
The Otters will stay local next week as they will play in the Patriot, hosted by Dallas Baptist at The Quail Lodge Golf Club in Carmel.
