Björken, Kimberling, Tao all shoot 70 in final round

FINAL RESULTS

WAIMEA, Hawaii -- Simon Björken (Hudkisval, Sweden), Tommy Kimberling (Rancho Cucamonga/Los Osos HS) and Tony Tao (Eastvale/Western Christian HS) each carded even par 70 as Cal State Monterey Bay finished 17th at the Southwest Airlines HPU Shark Shootout Saturday at the Mauna Lani Golf Course.

Björken, who fired a 1-under 69 in Friday's opening round, placed 19th overall at 139 over the 36-hole event. Senior Wilhelm Berg von Linde went 70-74 (+4) to placed 51st overall and in the top of half the 106-golfer field.

The Southwest Airlines HPU Shark Shoot concludes the fall portion of the CSUMB men's golf schedule. The Otters will head to the East Coast for the Matlock Collegiate Classic hosted by Florida Southern College Feb. 10-11 in Lakeland, Fla.
