AMARILLO – The Cal State Monterey Bay women's golf team finished 15^th overall at the West Regional Preview held at the Tascosa Golf Club. Otter senior Tilda Kvarnrud placed 15^th individually in the talented season opening event field.
 
"We have a lot of work ahead of us team-wise," head coach Jim Ragan said. "Tilda had a good tournament, posting a top-15 finish. She played well all three rounds and did a great job all around."
 
Kvarnrud was consistent the entire tournament, carding a 4-over 75 in the third and final round to finish with a 10-over 223.
 
Newcomer Morgan Pittman finished 65^th overall at 28-over and Mia Golovich fired her best round at 7-over to place 76^th with a 54-hole score of 32-over. Keahna Castillo rounded out CSUMB in 84^th at 47-over.
 
The Otters return to play on Oct. 7-8 to compete in the NCAA Championship Preview held at the Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nev.
