Otter Men's Basketball Notebook: at San Francisco State

Otters look for second 4–1 CCAA start in program history

SEASIDE, Calif. — The Cal State Monterey Bay men's basketball team will seek the second 4–1 start to its California Collegiate Athletics Association schedule when it travels to The City to take on San Francisco State Monday (Dec. 20) in The Swamp. It will be the final Otter game before Christmas. 

CSUMB only other 4–1 start came during the 2004–05 campaign, its first as a member of the CCAA. The Otters last started 3–1 in conference in the 2008–09 season, one in which they advance to the CCAA Championship game.

The Otters are coming off an 83–73 win against Cal State L.A. on Dec. 11. Junior guard Levi Frankland (Gold Coast, Queensland, Aust.) led the Otters with a career–high 31 points while senior guard Jordan May (Troutdale, Ore./Point Loma Nazarene) chipped in 14.

SAN FRANCISCO STATE COVID RESTRICTIONS FOR FANS
Spectators age 12 and over who attend indoor events for San Francisco State Athletics will be required to provide proof of vaccination using California's Digital COVID-19 Vaccine Record. Children under 12 must be accompanied by a vaccinated adult. To obtain your Digital COVID-19 Vaccine Record, visit https://myvaccinerecord.cdph.ca.gov. Present your QR code and government-issued ID to be scanned at the ticket table to verify that you are vaccinated against COVID-19.

All spectators over the age of two are required to properly wear CDC-approved face coverings (covering one's mouth and nose) at all times while in Athletics facilities and while indoors on the SF State campus. Tickets are cash only.

$10 (General Admission)
$ 5 Seniors (65+)
$5 Children (5–11)

To purchase your tickets for CSUMB home games in advance, visit the Otter Box Office online at: OtterAthletics.com/Tickets. Ticket prices are $10 for adults and $5 for children (17 and under). CSUMB student, faculty and staff will be admitted free with proper ID.
