Schedule Changes For Baseball/Softball This Weekend

Rain in the forecast forces adjustments to both series

SEASIDE, Calif. — Inclement weather expected throughout the Central Coast and Central Valley regions is forcing adjustments to the Cal State Monterey baseball and softball schedules for the upcoming weekend (Feb. 7-9).

Last weekend's rainout at Azusa Pacific gives the the No. 21 ranked Otter baseball team a chance to add a game to its series with Point Loma Nazarene University, making it a 4–game series. It will now begin with a single game on Thursday (Feb. 7) at 2 p.m. The series will continue with a doubleheader Friday (Feb. 8) and conclude with a single game Saturday (Feb. 9). Friday and Saturday's games are scheduled for 11 a.m.

The Otter softball team kicks off its CCAA schedule this week with a 4–game series at Stanislaus State in Turlock. Friday's doubleheader will be moved up to a noon start (originally a 4 p.m. first pitch). Saturday's doubleheader is still slated for a noon start, weather permitting.
