SEASIDE, Calif. — Otters love the water. But too much of a good thing is forcing Cal State Monterey Bay baseball and softball to write this weekend's schedules in pencil instead of pen.

The No. 16 ranked Otter baseball team is moving its 4–game series versus 2017 NCAA National runner–up UC San Diego. Originally scheduled for Mar. 23–25 at the Otter Sports Complex, the teams will now play doubleheaders on Sunday, Mar. 25 and Monday, Mar. 26. First pitch both days is scheduled for 11 a.m.

The Otter softball team is headed to the Central Valley to take part in the Tournament of Champions at Turlock's Pedretti Sports Complex Mar. 23–25. The Otters have two games scheduled each day, though rain is likely to cause some adjustments to that schedule as well.
