SEASIDE, Calif. – The Cal State Monterey Bay women's volleyball dropped a hard fought three-set match to No. 2 Cal State San Bernardino on Friday night at the Otter Sports Center, 25-20, 25-22, 25-19.
The Otters fall to 7-11 overall and 2-8 in the CCAA while the Coyotes remain undefeated with a 17-0 overall record, 10-0 in conference play.
Sophomore outside hitter #Rheann Fall# led the Otters with seven kills while classmate middle hitter #Tiffaney Riggs# racked up five blocks along with six kills and a .385 attack percentage.
The Otters outblocked the Coyotes, 7.5 to 3 but only hit .146 to CSUSB's .276.
CSUSB's junior Jane Chafeh nabbed a double-double with 12 kills and 10 digs.
The Otters return to the court on Saturday, Oct. 10, hosting Cal Poly Pomona at 7 p.m.
